Gallery — Still Water
Light Meets Vision
Step into a world where imagination takes shape and comes alive on still water.
There is an hour — twenty minutes, if you are lucky — when a mountain lake stops being water and becomes a second sky. Light Meets Vision is our pursuit of that hour across a full turning year: the same shoreline photographed in thaw, in high summer, in first frost.
What surprised us was not the sunsets, grand as they are, but the mornings nobody photographs: grey silk water, a single canoe trace, mist deciding whether to lift. Vision, we learned, is mostly a matter of arriving before the light does — and waiting to be introduced.

What this album holds
The gold frames
Sunsets that set the whole shoreline alight — fire on water, twice: once above, once below.
The grey frames
Mist, drizzle and pewter mornings — the quiet majority of the year, and our favourite third of the album.
The mirror frames
Perfect doubles of ridge and sky, kept only when the water earned them by lying perfectly still.
Chase the light with us at dawn.
Guided dawn walks to still water and high viewpoints — all levels, all weathers.
