Founder & principal photographer

Our story

Wildmere Landscapes began with a borrowed camera and a very long walk.

Ten years ago, Adrian carried a borrowed camera around a Cumbrian lake at dawn and came home with three frames that changed everything: mist lifting off still water, a couple laughing through wind, and a ridge lit like hammered copper. Wildmere Landscapes is the studio that grew from that morning.

Today we photograph mountain journeys, quiet devotions and far cities — always on foot, always in natural light, and always with the patience the land demands. We scout every route ourselves, wait for the weather we need, and print everything we sell in our own studio.

Our creed is simple: we believe every story is worth sharing, and the best stories are found where the path runs out.

How we work

01 — Wander

We walk the route first without a camera, learning the light, the weather and the quiet corners worth returning to.

02 — Witness

We return at dawn or dusk and photograph slowly — few frames, each one earned, nothing staged that the land didn't offer.

03 — Keep

We edit by hand, print in our own studio, and deliver albums and wall pieces built to outlive us all.

Walk with us, or let us walk for you.

Guided dawn walks, private commissions and fine-art prints — every journey starts with a conversation.
